SUMMARY:Long term care - The double-edged sword for women (Webinar)
DESCRIPTION:Credit hours: 1 | Not approved in: OK \n\n\n\nIntended for ASPPA\, CFP\, CIMA\, CLU/ChFC\, CRPC\, CRPS & CPE \n\n\n\nThis course will provide the student with a description of the issues surrounding long-term care and specifically issues women are likely to face. The program will include discussion on retirement and aging\, the need for long-term care in the United States\, and costs surrounding this care. We will also discuss the impact long-term care needs have on the caregiver as well as the cared for and who is more likely to need the protection of long-term care insurance coverage. The students will get an overview of government programs including Medicare\, Medicaid and CLASS. In addition\, this course will cover the different options available to the consumer for obtaining long-term care protection.
