Effective immediately, Genworth will be including an updated rate history disclosure form with issued long term care policies. Because there is some time lag in updating point of sale material, the rate history information included with the policy may be different than what was in the point of sale material. We are including the rate history with issued policies so that new policyholders have the most current information regarding Genworth rate increases. For some consumers, this updated information may impact their decision to accept the issued policy. Therefore, we are providing the information for their review during the free-look period.
