Medical Records Update
Our medical records vendor eNoah is implementing a process for obtaining special authorizations electronically, saving time and effort. This change will go into effect on June 23, 2025. Be on the lookout for live demos of the new process later this month.
What is the process?
- When a special authorization is required from a medical provider, our case manager will notify the contact person associated with the application alerting them of the request.
- eNoah will then send an email to the applicant providing them with a secure link to review and sign the authorization.
- eNoah will contact the applicant by phone on Day 1, then automated follow-ups by email and/or text daily, for five days at varying times.
- To ensure easy handling, the process is optimized for use from a mobile device with a camera. The applicant will review the authorization, sign a blank white sheet of paper and then take a picture of their signature when prompted.
- The software will automatically imprint the applicant’s signature and date to the authorization, with the whole process taking no more than five minutes.
