New Name. Same Purpose.
We are excited to share that with the approval of National Guardian Life Insurance Company’s (NGL) Board of Directors, its policyholders and the Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance, NGL has formed a mutual holding company, effective January 1, 2026.
In addition to the conversion to a mutual holding company, Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance also approved our name change to NGL Insurance Company (NGL).
The mutual holding company conversion and name change will have little to no impact on policyholders. Existing policyholders will receive a mailing in the first quarter that the mutual holding company conversion was approved and name changed. The mailing will be sent after the state filing is approved.
