An approved rider in California that replaces the spouse definition in the MutualCare® Solutions policy will now expand the definition of partner. This rider will be attached to policies on or after March 6, 2016. Policyholders that may be impacted will be receiving a letter from the home office informing them that may be eligible to receive a premium savings of 15%. If they qualify for the discount they will need to contact the Customer Service Offices within 30 days from the date of their letter.
Updated MutualCare® Solutions applications and product brochures (33381CA and 33390CA) are available to order through your normal channels, however you do not need to destroy any current stock.
