There’s no one-size-fits-all long-term care policy. Instead, you and your clients tailor a policy to meet your unique needs. That means they have the opportunity to select from a variety of optional benefits, like an inflation protection rider that allows policy benefits to grow over time.

How it works

Historically, the cost of long-term care services has increased approximately five percent per year, and that trend is expected to continue. Adding an inflation protection rider is a good way to ensure the policy your clients purchase today provides adequate coverage 20 years down the road when they’re likely to need care. It also has the potential to make the policy partnership qualified, which allows your clients to protect a portion of their assets in the event they need to apply for Medicaid.
