Nationwide Care Matters II
Help clients recover elimination period costs
Under many long term care policies, clients are required to pay for their own care during the elimination period. We understand the anxiety these out-of-pocket expenses can create. That’s why Nationwide CareMatters II now has a new retroactive payment feature designed to help ease their financial stress.
With Nationwide CareMatters II, once the elimination period is complete, client benefits for the first 90 calendar days are paid retroactively, along with benefits for the fourth month.

CareMatters II is not yet available in: AZ, CA, CT, DE, DC, FL, HI, IN, NJ, ND, NY, SD (subject to change). YourLife CareMatters remains available in all states that are pending approval and to firms that have not yet approved CareMatters II. CareMatters products are not available in MT, GU, PR, and USVI. Check specific firms for availability of products.
