Next round of 2010 in-force rate action notifications to take place in late August
In late August, we will begin policyholder notifications of in-force rate actions on the next round of John Hancock and Fortis policies with an effective date of the next anniversary on or after November 1, 2013. The following John Hancock LTCI individual policies are impacted:
- Policies originally issued in Arkansas and Rhode Island.
- Policies in previously announced states, for which certain products were moved to our new administration system: Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Oregon and Pennsylvania.
- Policies in previously announced states, where we will continue the implementation of the rate increase for policyholders who have received an initial “capped” increase: Arizona and New Jersey.
Fortis LTCI individual policies originally issued in Rhode Island are impacted as well.
