A greater awareness of long term care planning has finally emerged as 10,000 baby boomers are turning 65 every single day… for the next 18 years.   Therefore, we are expecting 2012 to be an explosive year in our long term care business.

To provide the level of support our current agent base has come to expect, and to accommodate the addition of several national accounts, Newman Long Term Care is pleased to announce two important changes.  First,  Linda Forkey will now be helming our new business department.  As the Senior Case Manager, Linda brings to her new position over a decade of experience helping our agents in all aspects of LTCI.  Linda has a strong understanding of the application and underwriting processes as well as a wealth of knowledge on the medical conditions and health combinations that might be red-flagged by an underwriter.   Her extensive product knowledge and background in plan design also helps to make sure everything is in good order before submitting it to the carrier.  With her excellent communication abilities, and your personal secure status website, we’ll help you stay on top of your long term care business. 

Second, Lori Gubash, our Director of Sales and Business Development, has expanded our Wholesaling team to include two external wholesalers, Paul Daugs, and Debbie Hull who will be out in the field visiting your offices, with our internal wholesalers  providing you the support you need. Of course , our award-winning specialists are always a great option if you choose to do business through that channel. All in all we are poised for the best year ever.
