When the time comes for your clients to use their long-term care insurance policy, it’s good to have choices. That’s why it’s important that the policy they select today is flexible enough to meet their needs tomorrow.

How it Works

Mutual of Omaha’s long-term care insurance policies allow your clients to choose how they prefer to receive policy benefits – cash or reimbursement.

  • Cash – There’s no elimination period to satisfy. Your clients receive a percentage of the policy’s maximum monthly benefit, which can be used to pay any cost associated with their long-term care expenses.
  • Reimbursement – After satisfying the policy’s elimination period, your clients are reimbursed for actual long-term care expenses they incur, up to the maximum monthly benefit of the policy.

Having the option to switch between cash and reimbursement gives your clients control over how to best spend the benefits of their policy.
