Effective today, Genworth Life Insurance Company (Genworth Life) will no longer offer 8 and 10-year benefit period options on Privileged Choice® Flex (Flex) and Privileged Choice® Flex 2 (Flex 2). These changes are consistent with Genworth’s efforts to reduce risk in our long term care insurance products.
Quote It! will be updated to remove the 8 and 10-year benefit periods 1/12/15. The Coverage Selection pages will not be updated.
The Privileged Choice Flex 2 consumer brochures will be updated for HI, IN, INP and MD and are expected to be available the week of January 19, 2015. The brochures for Privileged Choice Flex and Privileged Choice Flex Partnership for California will not be updated.
