eValuateTM is a pre-quote underwriting tool for evaluating the life and long term care underwriting categories for TLC in real time. It can help hone in on the underwriting category for more accurate premium quotes, which can mean more placed business.
eValuate is easy to use and it’s fast, handling multiple impairments, co-morbidity conditions and our full underwriting rules. It features:
• Easy reflexive questions on medical conditions,
• Rules for build table, blood pressure and cholesterol,
• Red flag medications and uninsurable conditions,
• Real time underwriting category results, which mean fewer calls to the underwriter and a potentially shorter sales cycle, and
• Print and e-mail underwriting quotes.
An eValuate link will launch a landing page for easy access to both long term care insurance (LTCI) and TLC; customized links are available for LTCI and TLC, only where applicable.
Regardless of the quote provided by eValuate, including a decline, if the customer insists on applying for insurance, the agent is required to complete an application and submit it to Genworth; otherwise an adverse underwriting decision has been made and the agent is responsible for complying with all applicable requirements.
