In-Force Rate Action Implementation Announcement: North Carolina
In August 2012, we announced our intention to seek premium rate increases on certain blocks of comprehensive long term care insurance policies. We recently received approval for the rate increase in North Carolina as indicated in the chart below.
Servicing agents will receive a list of their impacted policyholders in these states in the next two weeks. Policyholder notifications will begin one week following the mailings to servicing agents and will continue throughout the next year. Impacted policyholders will be notified 60 days in advance of their billing anniversary dates.
