Genworth released an update to the eSuite of New Business tools the evening of July 7th.
The changes are a direct result of the feedback we received from producers already using this tool.
What’s Changing?
- Moved the Producer Info page to the beginning and is now called “Producer Prep.” This allows producers to pre-populate sensitive data like personal information and commissions split info before engaging their prospect. Here are a few other updates to this page.
- “OK to Sell” button allows users to check if they are OK to sell in that state. Just click on “OK to Sell” to see if you are OK before meeting with your client. (producers selling in Pennsylvania will be stopped from proceeding with the application if they are not appropriately appointed)
- “Writing Producer Details” pre-populates known information from Pro. Only active PCN numbers will be available to select. BGA name is appended to PCN number for easy identification.
- “Update Name or Email Address” button allows users to update their name or email address in Pro to reflect accurately in eApp
- “BGA Information” identifies if there is a broker general agent case manager or contact for the quote or application
- “Affinity Program Details” allows users to preview which affinities are approved by Genworth and associated with their BGA (Affinity group is selected later on the Client Information page). If users don’t see this section, there are no approved affinity groups associated with that BGA. Producers should contact their BGA for more details about working with approved affinity groups.
- “Commission Splits” identifies if there are any commission splits, and if so, how much. The PCN or SSN of the additional agent is not required.
- “Lead or Applicant Details” identifies information regarding other health insurance policies sold by the producer to the applicant, and also provides an area to provide notes or details regarding each applicant. These notes will accompany the eApp to Genworth, but are not considered part of the application.
2. Added ability to select affinity group (if applicable) and quote with affinity discount.
Note: The BGA must have established a relationship with the Affinity Group that has been approved by Genworth before the discount can be applied.
3. Enhanced the Interview Scheduling section by adding a tab for Applicant B to schedule their underwriting interview (if applicable).
We are excited to implement these 3 changes to enhance the user experience.
