The state of Illinois requires that the delivery of Long Term Care policies take place 30 days after issue. Therefore, beginning April 1, 2015 we will include two copies of a Policy Delivery Receipt in the policy package. The Policy Delivery Receipt must be signed and dated by the insured immediately. Please leave one signed copy of the receipt with the insured, and return the other signed copy to Mutual of Omaha.
PLEASE NOTE: It is important to comply with state requirements and ensure that the delivery of the Long-Term Care policy is done within 30 days from issue, and the Policy Delivery Receipt must be signed, dated and returned to Mutual of Omaha immediately. The Policy Delivery Receipt will be treated as an outstanding Post Issue Requirement (PIR) if not returned in a timely manner.
