In August 2012, we announced our intention to seek premium rate increases on certain blocks of comprehensive long term care insurance policies. We will begin implementing the rate increase in South Dakota in January, 2013 as indicated in the chart here.
Servicing agents will receive a list of their impacted policyholders in this state in the next two weeks. Policyholder notifications will begin one week following the mailings to servicing agents and will continue throughout the next year. Impacted policyholders will be notified 60 days in advance of their billing anniversary dates.
