Effective June 1, 2013, Kansas and Michigan adopted the new NAIC Suitability in Annuity Transactions Model Regulation. This regulation requires all producers who engage in the sale of annuity products to complete product specific training for each insurer for which they sell.
In order to ensure compliance with this rule, each producer must have adequate knowledge of the State Life Care Solutions products and must be in compliance with our standards for product training.
Since the June 1, 2013, effective date has passed, it is imperative that you immediately access the product training at www.oneamerica.com/slproducttraining. You may not submit business with State Life until you complete this training requirement.*
The Kansas and Michigan Administrative Rule requires completion of a 4-hour approved annuity training course. For your convenience, you may also satisfy the 4-hour requirement for a nominal fee on our training site. The product training component is, of course, free of charge.
