Special Edition – Policyholders impacted by tornadoes in Oklahoma
John Hancock has been following the aftermath of the tornadoes in Oklahoma and we understand the
continuing hardship that many families in Oklahoma may be experiencing at this time. In recognition
of how this disaster may have impacted our LTC insurance producers and policyholders in the affected
area, we will continue to give special consideration to those in need.
The Oklahoma state insurance department has issued a bulletin asking insurers to provide extended
grace periods for all affected policyholders with respect to premium billing due dates and other
required response times, including extending grace periods for providing notice of claim, proof of loss,
and other transactions.
