Daily Medical Records’ Status Now Available on LTC Producer Portal
Prudential Long-Term Care is pleased to announce that General Agents and producers can ascertain the status of medical records ordered on their LTC insurance cases in a more timely and accurate manner. We now receive a daily feed into the LTC Producer Portal from MediConnect, our medical records retrieval vendor, that results in more timely access to updated medical records information. You’ll never have to wait more than 24 hours to view current information.
To view MediConnect status information:
• Launch the LTC Producer Portal.
• Enter the policy number.
• Under Policy Requirements (located just below “General Policy information), click “View Policy Memos” and the most recent information appears on top.
Please note that General Agents and producers also have the ability to log on to the MediConnect website.
We continue to explore other service and process improvements, including a feed from LifePlans into the Producer Portal, so you’ll have the most up-to-date status of your clients’ telephone health interviews.
