Mutual of Omaha: Reminder on Long-Term Care Partnership Training

From the Mutual of Omaha Express for 9/24/15:

Make sure you are up to date with LTC Partnership training.  Here’s why this is important:

  • Compliance requires training to be updated periodically along with being current on each state’s refresher courses
  • Proof that you have completed the required training must be on file with the insurance company you represent
  • If the Home Office does not have updated certification that you have completed the required training, we cannot accept your LTCi applications

Be sure to let the Home Office know that you have completed Partnership training so you can eliminate rewriting applications with your clients.

Below is the information for where you can submit your training certification:

To verify records are accurate, you may call 1-800-867-6873.  You may also reference the Long-Term Care Partnership Overview and Training Requirements Guide.

A monthly report will be posted on SPA the first work day of each month.  The report will include:

  • Producers who have submitted a long-term care application in the last two years AND
  • Producers whose long-term care training in their residence state only will expire in the next 30 days, according to Mutual of Omaha’s records

Marketers will be receiving a monthly email to check for this report out on SPA if they have producers with training about to expire.  Producers who are listed on the report also will receive an individual email advising of this information.

Reports and training information can be found on SPA.
